The June 5th Pokémon Sword and ShieldNintendo Direct included lots of new information about the upcoming games, including new Pokémon, new characters, new mechanics, and of course, new memes. Every Pokémon announcement makes a splash online, even things as mundane as the female player-character appearing vaguely Scottish, so when the June 5th direct announced the new Dynamax mechanic which literally turns Pokémon into GIANT BOYS, the memes were inevitable.
